BellesBoard was born around the same time as Annabelle, daughter of President Christine Deska, and is where our name comes from (Belle’s Board). Her kindness, warmth, and tenacity keeps team morale consistently high!

Celine is a creative customer-oriented professional with a strong experience in sales, account management and planning. She has worked for small companies and large corporations across various industries, from hospitality to fashion, building relationships, developing strategies and streamlining processes to grow the business.

Passionate about the idea that Art connects people and is for everyone, Celine was inspired by BellesBoard’s mission to help empower nonprofit organizations and focuses on Arts and Culture. 

Celine got a Master’s Degree in English from the Sorbonne University and an MBA in Global Fashion Management from the Institut Français de la Mode, Paris with the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York.

Michelle has a background in theatre and holds a BFA in Musical theatre with a minor in dance from East Carolina University. 

She is the founder and Artistic Director of Headwall Theatre Company, a Queens based company founded in 2018 after the passing of her high school drama teacher and mentor Jodi Davis. What Jodi gave her high school students was absolutely incredible: She gave her entire life to changing artists’ lives and giving them opportunities and a chance to try something for the first time, which is what Headwall’s mission is grounded in. 

Being in the indie theatre nonprofit world is what drew her to Christine Deska and BellesBoard. With such an easy-to-use platform, it makes it easier for board members to build confidence to become better champions of their company’s mission!

In addition to BellesBoard and all things theatre, she is also raising her two children in her favorite “hood” Queens.

Leean is a dedicated professional with a strong background in administrative work and extensive experience as a Security Assistant. 

While she is new to the non-profit sector, she has eagerly embraced the opportunity to apply her skills and grow within this field, bringing a fresh perspective and a passion for making a positive impact.

Gabriela is a dedicated communications professional with a strong background in corporate communication, media relations, and event management. She has worked on developing content strategies, collaborating on campaigns, and creating engaging social media content. Additionally, she has experience organizing events, managing client relationships, and coordinating advertising efforts, with a focus on fostering strong partnerships and navigating diplomatic communications effectively.

Gabriela was inspired by BellesBoard’s mission and its commitment to fostering a diverse team across generations and cultural backgrounds, which aligns with her own values of inclusivity and collaboration.

She holds a Master’s degree in Communications and Corporate Identity from the International University of La Rioja (Spain), a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from Baruch College, City University of New York, and an Associate’s degree in Public Relations and Institutional Image from Instituto Hernando Arias de Saavedra in Argentina.

With a diverse and rich background spanning performing arts, wellness, executive support, event management and brand marketing, Carolina specializes in project-based work that blends creativity with strategic organization. After nearly 17 years of supporting high-level executives and managing complex logistics, Carolina has carved a rewarding path by blending her skills and experiences in wellness, performing arts and community focused advocacy. 

Her introduction to the nonprofit world came in the form of serving for 3 years as Treasurer of the Parent Association (501c3) in the elementary school her daughters attended. It is here where she learned valuable skills in collaborating with parents, teachers and administration to raise funds, garner enrichment programming and develop community relationships to further enhance the education of each child at the school. 

She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo in consortium with the Medical College of Ohio; and a Musical Theatre Advanced Studies Certificate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Now, at BellesBoard, she draws on her diverse background to blend artistic and community focused goals with innovation—helping clients and collaborators bring visionary ideas to life. When she is not acting as personal assistant to her two busy young daughters, she loves to put on her 3-inch dance shoes and take them for a spin!

Jennifer is a creative business professional with more than 20 years of technology and operations experience.

After studying and working as a Teaching Fellow, Singer, and Study Abroad Program Director in Grenoble, France, Jennifer started her US career in the non-profit and corporate giving space. She found her calling in technology as a software trainer and implementation specialist, ultimately becoming a Project Manager and Director of Professional Services. 

Moving into product management and operations, Jennifer worked with businesses of all sizes, from sole proprietors to Verizon, focusing on Data Reporting, User Interfaces, and process improvement. Ultimately, her desire to make the world a better place led her back into the nonprofit world.Jennifer received a Trustee Scholarship to Boston University and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in French Language and Literature.

With over eight years of experience in customer service and quality assurance, Carl brings a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and a passion for delivering exceptional user support.

His background includes managing complex workflows, identifying and resolving issues quickly, and ensuring consistent service excellence. Carl’s transition into quality analysis reflects his strength in process evaluation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. 

His ability to balance technical insight with empathetic communication makes him a valuable asset to any team focused on performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Daisy is an experienced Test Engineer with a strong background in banking projects. With a tenure of three years in the industry, she has honed her skills in implementing cost-effective system testing and troubleshooting methods to improve overall efficiency. Her ability to quickly grasp new technologies and software has been a valuable asset throughout her career.

As a Test Engineer, Daisy has demonstrated proficiency in various areas, ensuring the success of the project. She has a keen eye for monitoring system performance, supporting the functioning of applications, and coordinating with clients.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics from Mangalore University, India.
