Michelle has a background in theatre and holds a BFA in Musical theatre with a minor in dance from East Carolina University. 

She is the founder and Artistic Director of Headwall Theatre Company, a Queens based company founded in 2018 after the passing of her high school drama teacher and mentor Jodi Davis. What Jodi gave her high school students was absolutely incredible: She gave her entire life to changing artists’ lives and giving them opportunities and a chance to try something for the first time, which is what Headwall’s mission is grounded in. 

Being in the indie theatre nonprofit world is what drew her to Christine Deska and BellesBoard. With such an easy-to-use platform, it makes it easier for board members to build confidence to become better champions of their company’s mission!

In addition to BellesBoard and all things theatre, she is also raising her two children in her favorite “hood” Queens.
